I just returned late last night from the annual Midwest Sport and Exercise Psychology Conference. This year it was held in Bowling Green, Ohio at Bowling Green State University, about 8 hours from Macomb. What a drive! But it was worth it. I enjoyed it. I gave a presentation- it was a watered down version of my thesis proposal because they only give you 12 minutes to present. I was super nervous because usually in the audience are many of the sport psychology gurus- people who have created theories and written great articles. Things went well. I think I did alright.
On the way there we were driving past South Bend, Indiana, which some of you may recognize as the home of Notre Dame University (and, I might add, the site of the story of Rudy). Our professor, Dr. Finch, asked if we'd like to stop and drive around. We didn't have much time, but it was awesome! I took some pictures of the campus and the football stadium.

This is the golden dome on the top of the administration building on campus in the background.
Below are Dr. Finch and Risa Kobayashi.
This is the library at Notre Dame with the mural of "Touchdown Jesus." It overlooks the football stadium (behind where I am standing to take the picture).

Here is the south end of the stadium. How exciting to be here!
It was great trip and fun to see a "famous" place. I'm getting all sorts of educational experiences out here!
