There's No Place Like Home

Have you ever seen to a field full of hot air balloons waiting to take off? It looks something like this.
Last Friday in Macomb was a hot air balloon festival. The young single adults decided we wanted to get a good look at it. It was the most awesome display of color and hot air mixed! Here are a few pictures and a movie.

I loved watching this little boy who was completely fascinated with the whole process. If there would have been a camera on me, I probably would have looked similar.

I thought of the movie The Wizard of Oz and how Dorothy ends up finding the solution to her problems all along was in the clicking of her heels and saying, "There's no place like home." Just prior to that she has this great plan to fly away in a hot air balloon from the Emerald City to Kansas.

We watched the balloons carry off their owners in their baskets. Being so far away from home I almost heard myself whisper, There's no place like home, there's no place like home."

That's sooooo awesome that you got the opportunity to go see that festival. That reminds me of the one they do in Provo every summer...during Freedom Festival. I bet that was fun though.
