Passing on the Dudo Tradition

Dudo in Spanish means "I doubt."

Dudo is also a game I learned a couple summers back at a family reunion. We were in Seaside, Oregon staying in condos on the beach for that reunion, and my cousins taught me how to play.

Last night I passed on the Dudo tradition and taught the game to my YSA group here in Illinois. They really seemed to enjoy it. There are a couple of math lovers in the group (one currently in graduate school for math education and the other finished with a math degree) so they were playing the probabilities, I think. I'm not sure if it worked out as well as they had hoped. You never know what is going to happen with a roll of the dice. I wanted to show everyone (especially Liz and Sarah) that I had played and so I got some video. These videos are mostly for the enjoyment of my Packer cousins who taught me how to play Dudo. :) Dedicated to you, ladies!

Oh! That game was so fun! I don't know what I liked more, the game or the fact that we were playing it with the ocean just a few steps away. That was fun. Miss you Aub!
