Have you all seen the movie Toy Story? There's a point in the movie where Buzz finally realizes that he is a toy and can't fly. He has a breakdown and when Sid's younger sister decides to play with him, he becomes Mrs. Nesbit. He wears a little hat and an apron. When Woody comes in to rescue him, he says, "Don't you get it?!?! I am Mrs. Nesbit!"

When Amber and her son, Corbin, came down to visit last week it was so fun to spend time with them. As those of you who read my blog have seen, I love to play with Corbin. He talks and talks and it so fun. One day we were playing in the loft where all the random toys from Newland past have been stored. Corbin found two pink unmatching high heeled shoes and put them on. Then he put on a little black hat. I couldn't help but educate him about Mrs. Nesbit.

He's just so innocent and trusting in this video. I probably shouldn't have taught him the concept of Mrs. Nesbit because who knows when it might come out...at nursery, in church...guaranteed it will be at the most inoportune time. Or worse yet, in front of his dad! Shhh, don't tell Matt!

I love my nephews!

Too Funny! Be sure to watch your back when you have kids! I know I'm waiting to get Richard back for teaching Brooklyn what a parasaurolophis (sp?) and Dolores say. :)

Hee hee....it is always wise to not openly share such fun things with daddies! Little kids just want to explore a little and don't understand these barriers and daddies just don't always understand that. Too too cute!

Mrs. Nez-mit...huh? That is soooooooo funny! My cousins call my dad that...just to make fun of him. (We are all good teasers, aren't we?) :)
I also love that he is so straight forward with you. "Where are you going?" "I don't know." Soooooooooo cute! :)

Love it. My boys have always preferred pink, purple, make-up, and sparkles. But can you really blame them... it's soo much prettier! I do love the Mrs. Nesbitt line, though... that's hilarious. What a good auntie...;)

Aubrey- you are a cute aunt. Mrs. Nesbit is a very crucial character for today's children. You were way in the right.
And I love the daddy-daughter-cheerleader video. How cool is that.
